I’m really not sure why I’m doing this. I did a blog in the past and I forgot about it. I have blogs on the station website and I forgot about it. I pretty much post blog stuff on Facebook which I guess is why I’m doing this.

It was suggested that maybe I should do a blog since my posts on Facebook were so long. I think what they were really saying was “I won’t have to scroll so far past your long ass posts if you were more brief and put the other stuff on a blog”. They were too kind to actually say those words though.

I think the real reason I’m doing it is because my dad died. I made notes before he passed away of funny things and serious things the week before and the week after that I knew I wanted to share at some point. Some I figured I would talk about on the air. Some I figured I would post on Facebook. Then I realized it would be overdoing it to share all of those things in those forums. Some would be too long but the fact is that some are just short and brief but if I posted even the short and brief ones on Facebook it would have been post after post after post and I’m pretty sure even my closest family and friends would unfriend me.

So I figured I would do a blog. Then if it’s too much stuff then no one has to look at it because it’s not like Facebook or listening to me on-air. You have to come to my blog on purpose to actually read it. Unless someone finds it by accident, then they could just click off of it. However, if they couldn’t I think that would be awesome that they are pounding their keyboard right now trying like hell to not have to keep reading my drivel but their computer won’t let them leave this page. I’m just going to put that image in my head right now so I can enjoy it for a moment.
